Janakpur

Janakpur is a significant city located in the southeastern part of Nepal, near the border with India. It is the capital of the Dhanusa District and holds deep cultural, religious, and historical importance, especially for Hindus.

The temple is dedicated to Sita, the legendary princess of Janakpur and wife of Lord Rama. It is believed to be the exact location where Sita was born and later married Lord Rama.
